Dr. Hasnaa Belghiti is a cardiologist based in Rabat, Morocco, with extensive clinical and academic experience in cardiovascular medicine. She practices cardiology at a cardiovascular diagnostic and consultation clinic in Rabat and has long been involved in clinical cardiology, cardiovascular imaging, and patient-centered cardiovascular care.
Dr. Belghiti currently serves as President-Elect of the Moroccan Society of Cardiology, reflecting her leadership role within the national cardiology community and her commitment to advancing cardiovascular care and professional collaboration in Morocco. She is also a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and a board member of the ESC Cardio-Oncology Council, where she contributes to international initiatives aimed at improving the understanding and management of cardiovascular complications related to cancer therapies.
Her areas of clinical and academic expertise include cardio-oncology, sports cardiology, echocardiography, cardiovascular rehabilitation, and clinical research. Dr. Belghiti holds specialized certifications in these fields, including advanced training in cardio-oncology from Sorbonne University, sports cardiology, cardiac rehabilitation, and echocardiography through postgraduate programs at the University of Bordeaux.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Belghiti plays an active role in medical education. She serves as the Coordinator of the Cardio-Oncology Diploma and the Sports Cardiology Diploma programs at the International University of Rabat (UIR), contributing to the training of healthcare professionals in emerging cardiovascular subspecialties and strengthening academic capacity in cardiovascular medicine.
Dr. Belghiti has also held leadership roles in professional organizations, including serving as Past President of the Association of Private Cardiologists of Rabat and surrounding regions, and she has been involved in cardiology practice within the Moroccan healthcare system for many years.
Through her clinical leadership, academic contributions, and engagement with international cardiology networks, Dr. Belghiti actively supports initiatives aimed at improving cardiovascular awareness, education, and research collaboration. As a member of the Amyloidosis Africa Advisory Board, she contributes to advancing efforts to improve awareness, early diagnosis, and collaborative research on cardiac amyloidosis across the African continent.
