Dr. Kefelegn Dejene is an experienced interventional cardiologist and academic clinician based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He currently serves at the Cardiac Center Ethiopia, where he has been actively involved in delivering advanced cardiovascular care since 2016.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Dejene holds the position of Assistant Professor of Medicine, contributing to the training and mentorship of the next generation of healthcare professionals. His expertise spans a wide range of cardiovascular diseases, with a strong focus on interventional cardiology.
He previously served as President of the Ethiopian Society of Cardiac Professionals, where he played a key leadership role in advancing cardiovascular care, professional development, and national collaboration in Ethiopia.
Dr. Dejene completed a Fellowship in International Cardiology at Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences in India, further strengthening his clinical and procedural expertise in modern cardiology practice.
