Prof. Dr. Magdy Abdelhamid is a highly experienced cardiologist and academic leader with over three decades of expertise in cardiovascular medicine. He serves as Professor of Cardiology at Cairo University, where he has been actively involved in clinical practice, teaching, and research since 1989.

In addition to his academic role, he holds a regional leadership position as Chair of the Task Force for North Africa and the Middle East at the European Society of Cardiology, contributing to the advancement of cardiovascular care and collaboration across the region.

Prof. Abdelhamid brings extensive clinical and strategic insight in cardiovascular diseases, with strong experience in hospital-based care, clinical education, and regional cardiovascular initiatives.
