Prof. Rania Hammami is a Professor of Cardiology, Interventional Cardiologist, and Head of the Cardiology Department at the Military University Hospital of Sfax, Tunisia. She has extensive expertise in interventional cardiology, echocardiography, and cardiovascular research, with a strong commitment to advancing cardiovascular care and medical education.

She serves as General Secretary of the Tunisian Society of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Diseases and Treasurer of the Association of Cardiologists and Cardiovascular Surgeons of Sfax (AMCV). She is also the Coordinator of the Interventional Cardiology Continuing Education Program at the Faculty of Medicine of Sfax and is an active professional member of both the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) and the American Heart Association (AHA).

As the Tunisia Country Lead for Amyloidosis Africa, Prof. Hammami supports national efforts to improve awareness, early diagnosis, multidisciplinary collaboration, education, and research in cardiac amyloidosis. She is committed to strengthening regional partnerships and expanding access to evidence-based care for patients with amyloidosis across Tunisia and the African continent.
